1 – Are you licensed to work in the state of New Jersey?
Premium Aquascapes is a licensed home improvement contractor as per the requirements of the state of New Jersey. Licensing requirements also include proof of business insurance and requires that the company register each year with the state. 2 – How much experience do you have ?
Premium Aquascapes owner Pieter van Westervelt has 30 years experience in the landscape industry and 20 years experience in the field of aquascaping. We also continue to further our knowledge by attending seminars held throughout the year across the country. Through our on-going education we have gained extensive knowledge in Aquatic Plants, Fish Care & Health issues, and the latest water gardening methods.
3 – Are you a certified contractor ?
Premium Aquascapes is a Certified Aquascape Contractor and a member of Aquascape Inc’s Water Garden Excellence program.
4 – Can you provide us a list of references and projects that we could visit?
We will gladly provide you with a list of projects that you can visit and interact with. To respect the privacy of all our clients we ask that you choose a few locations from our list that you would like to visit and allow us time to contact the property owner to arrange for your visit. Upon completion of your project we will be asking you to allow us the same privilege of bringing clients to visit.
5 – Do you provide any warranty on your work?
Premium Aquascapes is currently the only water feature contractor that backs our work up with a written ten year workmanship warranty for water features! This is in addition to the warranty that the manufacturer provides on the components. All this information is provided to you with your installation contract.
6 – Do you have a pond at your home ?
Of course! And we would love for you to stop by and visit. My pond is on a large scale and we have many friendly Koi for you to interact with.
7 – Can I view your display ponds?
Yes. Our list of public displays is growing as word gets out about our involvement in the Communities Beautification Program.
8 – Do you offer seasonal maintenance ? …and what does it include ?
Premium Aquascapes offers a full range of services including; Spring start up, maintenance programs, Fall shut downs, & annual flower installation. We also offer emergency call service for our clients for those times when you just can’t figure out what to do.
9 – Does your company offer any educational seminars ? (Plants, fish, etc)
Yes we offer a full range of seminars & events for the consumer. Visit our website for a complete list of seminar topics, locations and times. We update these on a regular basis so check back often if you don’t see what you are looking for or contact us to be placed on our seminar notification list.
10 – Where can I purchase supplies ? (Fish food, bacteria, fertilizer tabs, etc)
You can contact us directly and we will give you a location that we are working with to supply you will the products that you need. We are working with a number of options to make getting your supplies easier then ever via the internet.
