Seminar Descriptions
Spring Start up, Pond Fish 101 & 102, Pond Plants
This seminar will cover the important points that you need to know to have a successful ponding season. You will be taught how to properly perform a spring clean out of your pond, how to prepare your finned friends for the new season, and why plants are an important part of your pond.
Water Gardening 101
So you’re Thinking of a Pond, Pond Design, Pond Construction, Pond Ecology. This seminar is designed to teach you about low maintenance eco-system water gardens, proper construction of water gardens and where & how to build a successful water garden.
Build-A-Pond Day
This is a hands on, get your feet wet seminar! You will work along side a professional pond builder and learn the tricks of the trade with this seminar. We will be building a complete eco-system pond and before the day ends we will have the waterfall running and the fish happily swimming in their new home.
Build-A-Pondless Waterfall Day
What is a ‘Pondless’ Waterfall you ask? This seminar is for those who want all the sights and sounds of a waterfall without the pond. You will learn how the pros build these features. This is also a hands on get your feet wet seminar. By the end of the day we will have completed the installation of a 4’ micro ‘pondless’ waterfall.
Aquatic Plants Seminar
This seminar will teach you about the different varieties of Aquatic plants and why they are an important part of the eco-system. We will also be discussing the importance of Tropical Aquatic plants and why you should add these beauties to you water feature. We will also be discussing some plants that can be used in your water feature that will surprise you.
